Mrs. Karen Dougherty is the proud mom of a 2019 Ad Fontes Academy graduate. She loves the school so much, she spent 3 years serving as a member of the Board of Trustees and is honored now to serve as the Head of School. She is a graduate of Bethany College, Bethany, West Virginia where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts/Theatre with a minor in Business Management. Mr. Michael Mũniz

Mr. Michael J. Mũniz, is an experienced educator in his 19th year of service. Born and raised in Miami, FL, he recently moved from Dallas after serving for 5 years as an educator and administrator at a classical charter school. Mr. Mũniz is currently nearing the end of his pursuit of a PhD in Leadership Studies at Dallas Baptist University. Mr. Zachary Rallo

After having taught classically for six years (five of them at Ad Fontes) and worked with students as a youth minister for three years, Mr. Zachary Rallo is excited to be stepping into administration as Principal of the Upper School. He has taught Literature, Logic, Bible, and Rhetoric at Ad Fontes, delighting in watching students grow in their ability to write, think, and speak. He also coaches Ultimate Frisbee here at AFA. Mr. Rallo received a B.A. in Philosophy from the Templeton Honors College at Eastern University and has done graduate work in theology and leadership at Reformed Theological Seminary. [...]

Mr. Paul Cameron

Mr. Paul Cameron spent his formative years abroad in Europe as a military kid and missionary. He graduated from Liberty University with a B.S. in Business Marketing and an M.B.A. in Public Relations. As the Director of Athletics, College Support, and Student Activities, Mr. Cameron strives to use his experiences and knowledge to enhance the development and spiritual growth of our students.

Mr. David Mathwin

Mr. Dave Mathwin has taught at Ad Fontes since 1998. He lives in Midland with his wife Linda and their three children, John, AJ, and Keris. In past years he taught a variety of subjects but now concentrates on teaching History at the Upper School. Ms. Ellie Houser

Ms. Ellie Houser graduated from Ad Fontes in 2019 and felt led to serve as one of the office managers. She loves working alongside her mom, Mimsie, as well as keeping tabs on her brother Max, a current 11th grader at AFA. Along with working at AFA, Ellie studies school psychology at George Mason University and leads a Bible study with CRU, the on-campus Christian ministry. For fun, Ellie enjoys reading, photography, and playing hide-and-seek with her nephew Grayson.

Mrs. Debra Davis

Mrs. Debra Davis serves as the AFA Administrative Director and previously served as the Upper School Office Manager. She earned a Master of Arts degree in Audiology at the University of Tulsa, a Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Speech and Hearing Disorders at Phillips University and an Associates degree in Nursing at Cameron University. Mrs. Davis worked eight years as a registered nurse caring for premature infants. Mrs. Julie Jeffrey

Mrs. Julie Jeffrey is the business manager at Ad Fontes Academy. Prior to her time at AFA, she worked for a government contractor in human resources and accounting. Julie holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from California State University, Sacramento. Julie is married to Terry and has five children and five grandchildren.
