Mrs. Maryanna Kim graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Fine Arts and a minor in Architecture. She received an M.A. in Education from George Mason University with a teaching certificate in PK-6 and an endorsement in art. With eight years of public school experience, Mrs. Kim taught third grade, sixth grade, and elementary art. Her experience also includes being a children’s ministry coordinator, Sunday School teacher, and youth leader. She continues to enjoy volunteering at her church for VBS and various events. Mrs. Kim and her husband have three young boys, two of whom are current AFA students. She is honored for the opportunity to serve AFA and its students!
