Head of Upper School Rhetoric, Classical Composition, and Literature
Upper School Faculty
Mrs. Linda Mathwin starting teaching at Ad Fontes in 1998. After staying at home full time to care for her three children for nine years, she rejoined the AFA faculty in 2010. She serves as Head of Rhetoric and teaches Senior Thesis, Classical Composition, and Upper level Literature. In addition, she taught 6th grade for three years in Mississippi and Literature/Composition at a local homeschooling co-op for four years. She has her B.A. from Grove City College, where she met her husband, Dave. She enjoys teaching, cooking, reading, and gardening. She teaches Senior Rhetoric (Thesis), 8th, 11th, and 12th Grade Literature, and leads the Play Reading Club. She has taught at Ad Fontes for fourteen years.
