Mrs. Laurie Bracewell

Mrs. Laurie Bracewell graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Fine Art. She worked for 10 years as a graphic designer and then decided to pursue her passion for photography, starting her own business and photographing weddings for the next 5 years. Her husband’s job led the family overseas to England and Germany where Mrs. Bracewell shifted focus from weddings to landscape photography, and admits to planning family trips in Europe based on places she wanted to capture. After returning to Virginia, she worked for a short time as a logistics and client services manager for a global photography workshop company, managing client needs and the details of close to 100 workshops. She brings her business acumen, interpersonal communication skills, and fine arts gifts to AFA, where she has two boys enrolled in the Lower School.
