Katherine Bradshaw

Lead Latin Teacher (in Lower and Upper School)

Miss Katherine Bradshaw brings a contagious enthusiasm for Classics to the Latin classroom. She has an M.A. in Classics from the University of Maryland, as well as an M.A. in English from the George Washington University. Magistra Bradshaw teaches and tutors Latin students, connecting modern young people with timeless ideas from the treasure trove of ancient Greco-Roman literature. Her passion for Classics extends beyond the classroom as she moderates at various Certamen (Classics quiz bowl) competitions and mentors students at state and national Junior Classical League conventions. She has presented at annual meetings of the American Classical League, the Classical Association of the Middle West and South, and the Classical
Association of the Atlantic States. In addition to bringing the ancient past to life for students, Magistra Bradshaw can be found speaking Latin or Ancient Greek at immersion workshops, knitting for charity, or training for Spartan obstacle course races. This is her first year at Ad Fontes.
