Mrs. Jenkins graduated from James Madison University with a B.S. in psychology. Before staying home with her children, she was a human resource director for a science nonprofit. Over the past 23 years, she taught Bible classes to children, teens, and women. She briefly worked as a substitute teacher for Prince William County Schools before deciding to homeschool her older children. Four of the five homeschooling years were with Classical Conversations, where she also tutored 4-6th graders. She is passionate about missions and has chaperoned an AFA Peru Mission Trip. She is married to Michael and has three children, one alumnus and another is a Lower School student. This is her second year working at AFA.
