Ad Fontes asks for at least one parent to be in agreement with our Statement of Faith. We seek to partner with parents, and the most fruitful partnerships we experience with parents are those where both partners share the same biblical worldview and are supportive of our mission: To glorify God by assisting Christian parents in equipping their children to be servant leaders through a classical education based on eternal biblical truth.

Ad Fontes believes that advanced academic achievement is just one component in grade placement. Because emotional and social maturity are important factors in the success of a student, Ad Fontes does not progress students beyond their natural age grade level, regardless of advanced academic achievement.

Ad Fontes implements a hard cut-off date for kindergarten and first grade of August 31st. All kindergarten applicants must be 5 years of age by August 31st of the year in which they plan to enter kindergarten. All first grade applicants must be 6 years of age by August 31st of the year in which they plan to enter first grade.

FACTS Payment Plan & Billing: AFA encourages all families to create an account with FACTS Payment Plan & Billing as a convenient payment option for many additional fees not covered by tuition. Monthly tuition payments are managed through FACTS.

FACTS Grant & Aid: Ad Fontes offers tuition assistance based on an evaluation conducted by FACTS, an independent organization that provides third-party, objective and completely confidential financial need assessment for families who apply for financial aid. Tuition assistance is granted by Ad Fontes based on FACTS recommendations and available funds.

FACTS Family Portal: Ad Fontes families use this private and secure parents’ Portal to allow parents to view the school calendar and directory, to access resource documents and web forms, and to view academic information specific to their children, while protecting their children’s information from others. Enrollment and re-enrollment packets are also accessed through the Portal.

Ad Fontes requires uniforms for kindergarten through 11th grade and has a partnership with Lands’ End, our official uniform provider. We have a dress code handbook to help our families know what to purchase and what is required for regular dress, special events dress, and spirit wear dress. To help families offset uniform costs, we hold multiple uniform giveaways/exchanges where families pass-on outgrown uniform clothing and accessories in good condition to other families. The Upper School has a dress-down Friday once a month. Our seniors have a dress code that is above uniform standard.

Ad Fontes does not have a cafeteria, so all families are required to provide a lunch and snacks for the students. Traditionally, we host a Chick-fil-a Day on Tuesdays and Pizza Day on Thursdays. Twice a year, families are offered the opportunity to pre-order Chick-fil-a sandwiches and cheese and/or pepperoni pizza slices for their students for a semester. No changes are allowed during the semester once orders have been placed. Families forfeit their sandwiches or pizza slices if a student is absent.

Beginning in the fall of 2025, Ad Fontes Academy will offer Schole Club, a Monday through Friday club beginning at 2:45pm and running until 6pm daily.

Ad Fontes does not offer before-care.

Ad Fontes does not offer transportation. Our private parent Facebook group and our school directory are tools parents use to arrange carpooling with other families.

Ad Fontes is not authorized to issue I-20’s and does not have the resources or support to offer English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Ad Fontes is limited in the amount of support and resources we are able to offer for accommodations. Prospective families who have a child with a current IEP or who has been formally diagnosed with a learning disability through psycho-educational testing should consult the Admissions Director before applying.
