Sixth Grade
Lower Campus Faculty
Miss Rebecca Chenette is a graduate of Ad Fontes Academy and an experienced student of classical Christian education, having attended elementary school at Tall Oaks Classical and then at Ad Fontes from 7th to 12th grade. Her father was the head of both schools for a time, so she has grown up in the culture of classical Christian education from a young age. Miss Chenette completed a double degree at George Mason University in Economics and Global Affairs with a concentration in Social Entrepreneurship and Global Poverty, as well as a minor in Latin. In addition to her experience working for nonprofits and local government, she has a passion for supporting entrepreneurs, especially in developing countries, and has worked for startups in the transportation and hedge fund industries. Studying Latin at AFA inspired a love of studying many languages, but she has particularly pursued the study of Bengali.
At AFA, she taught sixth grade for five years before expanding to teach some Upper School classes as well. She hopes to share the enduring love for the Lord and for learning which AFA teachers inspired in her long ago.
