Dean of Students, Bible and History

Administrative Staff | Upper School Faculty

After having taught classically for six years (five of them at Ad Fontes) and worked with students as a youth minister for three years, Mr. Zachary Rallo is excited to be stepping into administration as Principal of the Upper School. He has taught Literature, Logic, Bible, and Rhetoric at Ad Fontes, delighting in watching students grow in their ability to write, think, and speak. He also coaches Ultimate Frisbee here at AFA. Mr. Rallo received a B.A. in Philosophy from the Templeton Honors College at Eastern University and has done graduate work in theology and leadership at Reformed Theological Seminary. He attends Grace Presbyterian Church in Vienna, and lives in Reston with his wife Sara and dog Fitz where he enjoys playing board games and over-analyzing television shows.
