Mrs. Darcy Robblee

Darcy Robblee is the founder, curriculum designer, and teaching artist at The Laughing Elizabeth Children’s Theatre. She is also an English instructor with an online academy and is a homeschool mother to her six children and an active military wife.

Darcy has taught English and Rhetoric in emergent school models for over 16 years. She earned her MA in Theatre History and Criticism from Catholic University of America and her undergraduate in Literature from Patrick Henry College. She worked for the homeschool advocacy group HSLDA for five years before she began teaching. Currently, she is active in her local church and teaches at a classical homeschool co-op in Northern Virginia. She loves mentoring young parents, especially as they advocate for their children’s education. When she is not teaching or directing a play, she loves to host literary-themed parties for her children, travel through Europe, and garden in her own backyard.
