Anne Simpson is a Level III certified Kodaly teacher, having completed her certification at the Chenaniah Summer Music Institute at New Saint Andrews College in Moscow, Idaho. She has spent the majority of her adult life teaching in a classical setting, combining her twin passions of music and literacy in an amazing and fulfilling career. As a young adult, she lived in Russia, and was privileged to gain experience and training with a classical Russian pianist during that time. Raised in a Christian home, she has pursued a relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, from a young age. Today, she serves faithfully in the music ministry of her home church, directing the children’s choir, playing the piano, and singing. She also teaches musicianship classes with the Fairfax Choral Society’s Youth Choir, and offers private piano lessons in her spare time. She lives with her husband and two sons (joining AFA in 4th and 6th grade this year) in Leesburg, VA. This is her second year at Ad Fontes.
