Ad Fontes Academy

Eighth Grade visited the Walters Art Gallery recently to look at the art and artifacts for each of the civilizations they studied this year with Mr. Mathwin. The museum's collection includes incredible pieces from Egypt, Greece, and Rome. Students had to pick out which piece they felt was most representative of the civilizations we studied.

While in Baltimore, they took the opportunity to visit two historic ships. The Torsk was the last submarine in WWII to sink an enemy vessel, and the Constellation was in use during the Civil War.
