Mrs. Janelle Fritts graduated from Dordt University (Sioux Center, IA) in 2019 with a bachelor’s degree in English, a minor in Chemistry, and far too many theatre credits for someone who wanted to have leisure time. She has spent the last several years honing her research, writing, and communication skills at the Tax Foundation. As a student of classical education, Mrs. Fritts is excited to join the Ad Fontes staff full time to teach drama, rhetoric, composition, and literature. Mrs. Molly Frost

Mrs. Molly Frost has taught in classical Christian schools for more than two decades, including at Veritas Academy (PA) and Oak Hill Christian in Reston. She has a B.A. in Latin from Franklin and Marshall College. She is known as a teacher of great enthusiasm and creativity. In addition to her Latin work, she is also an experienced ballet and gymnastics instructor.

Dr. Stephen Kitoo

Dr. Stephen Kitoo is a native of Kenya, where he earned his Master of Divinity in 2006 at the Nairobi International School of Theology. Stephen has served as a senior pastor in two different churches, and is currently teaching undergraduate studies in the online program at Liberty University where he earned his Doctor of Philosophy in 2020. Stephen and his wife Joy are members of Braddock Road Baptist Church. They have two Lower School children at AFA.

Mrs. Jenise Leaser

Mrs. Jenise Leaser is in her second year teaching American and Early Modern History at AFA. Mrs. Leaser has previously taught at the Rivendell School as a Second Form teacher and classically homeschooled her children. She has also been an adjunct professor at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Mrs. Leaser has earned a B.A. in Government from Oral Roberts University and dual Master’s degrees in Public Administration and Business Management from Regent University, as well as completing three years of doctoral level work at Old Dominion University in Public Policy. Mrs. Linda Mathwin

Mrs. Linda Mathwin starting teaching at Ad Fontes in 1998. After staying at home full time to care for her three children for nine years, she rejoined the AFA faculty in 2010. She serves as Head of Rhetoric and teaches Senior Thesis, Classical Composition, and Upper level Literature. In addition, she taught 6th grade for three years in Mississippi and Literature/Composition at a local homeschooling co-op for four years. Ms. Rachel Smith

Following graduation from Ad Fontes and university, Ms. Rachel Smith gained experience in ASL interpreting, audiology, and behavior therapy. She was thrilled to return and teach at her alma mater. Ms. Smith received a B.A. in Applied Linguistics from Union University. Her post-baccalaureate work has been completed at Gallaudet University, Northern Virginia Community College, and Longwood University. She and her fiancé attend Grace Covenant Church in Chantilly. With a keen interest in the patterns and puzzles of the world, as often found in languages, sciences, and mathematics, Ms. Smith finds herself always learning. Mrs. Susan Smith

Mrs. Susan Smith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from MIT, and has taught in the Upper School at Ad Fontes since 2010. She has taught every mathematics class from Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus BC, as well as the Logic course, a Latin course, and a few science courses. She desires a balance between the creative options for teaching and the rigor required to master concepts needed in the upper-level classes. Her three youngest children are AFA alumni.
