Renee Hammond is a graduate of James Madison University with a B.S. in Health Sciences. She was a health educator and nutritionist for ten years prior to attending nursing school at Northern Virginia Community College where she earned an Associate Degree in Nursing. Renee worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 14 years followed by a year of nurse case management. She continues to work part-time as a Women’s and Children’s Services Health Educator at a local hospital, and she serves at AFA as a Lower School aide. Renee and her husband Mark have a 3rd grader attending AFA.
