Mrs. Joy Rangel is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.A. in Economics. She has worked as a center supervisor for Fairfax County’s SACC program, and as a Recreation Leader and Play camp Director with Arlington County’s Parks and Recreation Department. She served as a scout leader and co-coached youth soccer with her husband, Jorge. She has a passion for children’s ministry, recreation and games, and as a long-time Sunday school teacher and youth fellowship leader at Centreville United Methodist Church she has been able to combine the two. She currently serves on the Youth Council and enjoys teaching an adult Bible study class at CUMC. She also enjoys reading (especially science fiction and fantasy), movies, theater and strategy board games. She and Jorge have three adult sons and a daughter. This is her seventh year teaching at Ad Fontes.
