Alex Taylor

Latin and Literature

Alex is currently enjoying his third year at Ad Fontes, teaching Ancient and Medieval Literature and two Latin courses. Alex holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middle Tennessee State University, where he studied English Literature and Medieval Studies. He also studied moral philosophy in a rigorous classical Christian Great Books program at New College Franklin. In addition to Latin, he has expertise in Old and Middle English and Koine Greek. Outside of school, Alex stays occupied with liturgical ministry and design work at his church. He lives in Warrenton with his wife Alicia, who teaches Art in the AFA Lower School, and their son, Thomas.
