Cultivating Students as Servant Leaders

Ad Fontes In-Person Reopening Plan

Ad Fontes in early July announced to their families a detailed plan to open on September 2 with in-person learning five days a week. AFA believes in-person provides an essential means for student’s personal and academic development, provided it can be done safely. AFA President Dean Luckenbaugh hosted a parent Q&A on Zoom to receive parent comments and answer questions. In addition to following age appropriate social distancing recommendations and CDC and State health guidelines, AFA staff and students will wear face shields during indoor classroom activities to provide full face and spread protection while being able to speak understandably, see facial expressions, and allow teachers to provide close support to students. AFA will be well prepared to pivot to remote learning if the State or local conditions require that switch. Read the Reopening Plan.
